Waken Mouthcare offers a like-for-like take-back service for our sonic toothbrushes. This means that when you purchase a NEW electric toothbrush from us, you have the option to return an equivalent OLD electric toothbrush to us within 28 days of purchase for responsible disposal, completely free of charge.
Our like-for-like take-back service is designed to prevent WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) from being dumped or disposed of improperly, which can lead to environmental damage due to the leakage of hazardous substances.
If you are a resident in the UK, some councils also offer collection services for WEEE alongside their standard recycling collections. The crossed-out Wheelie Bin on household electrical equipment serves as a reminder that all WEEE products can be recycled and should not be disposed of with household waste.
By participating in our WEEE Take-back scheme, you are not only ensuring the proper disposal of your old electric toothbrush but also contributing to the protection of our environment. Together, we can make a difference in reducing electronic waste and its harmful impact on our planet.
HOW TO SEND US YOUR BRUSH
Simply place your old brush into packaging suitable for mailing, mark the package with the following "FREEPOST WAKEN" and drop in to any Post Office or Royal Mail post box.
Please include the following information:
- Customer Name
- New Item and Date of Purchase
- Old Item and Date of Return
